Privacy policy

Purpose

Responding to inquiries submitted through the contact form, handling pre-contractual relationships, and managing the purchase, delivery, and support of Clarisan licenses.

Legal basis

Inquiries about a product, service, quote, or potential project: pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject (GDPR art. 6.1.b). Other professional communications: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f) where applicable. Clarisan license purchases: performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b) and compliance with legal obligations (GDPR art. 6.1.c).

Retention period

Inquiries that don't lead to a purchase are kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last relevant communication. Submissions handled through Web3Forms are removed from that provider within a target of 30 days. Documentation for Clarisan purchases (contractual evidence, billing, and licenses) is kept under an operational 6-year criterion, limited to the data and documents needed for the contract, billing, legal obligations, and defense against claims.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, and restriction of processing by writing to contacto@fherrera.dev.

Data processors and third parties

  • Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions.
  • Google (Gmail) — some inquiries are handled through a personal Gmail account (not Google Workspace). That service is provided under Google's own consumer terms and privacy policy; Google states it doesn't offer the Google Workspace DPA nor act as a data processor under that product.
  • Stripe / Link — handles the payment process for Clarisan licenses (Stripe Managed Payments / Link): checkout, transaction processing, indirect taxes where applicable, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and purchase receipts. Stripe/Link acts as Merchant of Record for those transactions.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and the license issuance/validation infrastructure for Clarisan.
  • Vercel Analytics — performs cookieless, aggregated traffic analysis of the site (Vercel Web Analytics).

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use non-essential cookies. Aggregated traffic analysis is performed with Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies. The only preference saved in the browser is light/dark mode, stored in localStorage rather than in a cookie.
